Bounce

Bounce Scout · $19/mo · requires Pro

AI job alerts that never show you
the same job twice.

Every morning, a handful of currently posted jobs matched to the experience you have actually logged. Each card shows its posting date and its source, so you can check us. Some mornings the list is short. Some mornings it is empty. We would rather send you nothing than send you a ghost.

Scout is $19/mo on top of Bounce Pro. The ghost-job checker above is free and needs no account.

Your job alerts are not broken. They are indiscriminate.

Three specific failures, and what each one costs you.

How Scout builds your list every morning

1You give it your real titles

Up to three titles, a location, and whether you want remote only. That is the whole setup, and you can change it any time.

2It pulls fresh postings only

From four named sources, filtered to postings under 21 days old. That freshness filter is the single most effective ghost-job defence available from outside a company.

3It matches against what you logged

Your Story holds your real accomplishments. Scout scores against those, not against a keyword you typed once.

4It never shows a repeat

Every job that reaches your feed is remembered permanently and filtered out of every future build. Turn a company down twice and it stops appearing at all.

You do not have to trust us. Check the card.

Every card carries three things that make it falsifiable.

On every cardThe posting date

In days. If a card says nine days old and the posting says otherwise, we are wrong and you can see it immediately.

On every cardThe source

RemoteOK, Arbeitnow, Remotive, or Adzuna, named, with a link straight to the original posting.

On every cardWhy it matched

The specific experience of yours that made this a match, so a bad match is diagnosable instead of mysterious.

What Scout will not do

The list of nos is the product.

It will never auto-apply on your behalf, and we are not building that. Auto-apply optimizes the one number that has stopped meaning anything to the person reading applications. It does not scrape LinkedIn or Indeed, because their terms do not permit it, so our coverage is genuinely narrower than theirs and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. It cannot tell you whether a job is a ghost, because nobody outside that company can. And on a quiet morning it sends you nothing rather than padding the list to look busy.

The price, with nothing buried

$19/month for Scout+ Bounce Pro at $29/month

So the real number is $48 a month, and we would rather you read that here than discover it at checkout. Pro also comes at $57 a quarter or $149 for a year as a single payment. All Access is $399 once and includes Scout permanently. Career Watch, the monthly market brief for your title and metro, is included with Scout at no extra cost.

Who this is not for

Questions

How do I find jobs that were just posted?

Manually and for free, first: on LinkedIn set Date posted to Past 24 hours, and on Indeed use the Date posted filter. Both work. The catch is that you have to re-run them every day, and they still show you postings you have already rejected. Scout automates exactly that, with a 21-day ceiling and a permanent memory of what you have seen.

Can Scout tell me if a job posting is a ghost job?

No, and neither can anyone else from the outside. Only the company knows whether it intends to hire. What Scout can do is refuse to show you postings older than 21 days, which removes the largest and most checkable category of stale listing. If you want to inspect one specific posting, our ghost-job checker is free and needs no account.

Does Scout apply to jobs for me?

No, and we are not planning to build it. Auto-apply tools optimize for applications sent, which is the number that has stopped meaning anything to the person on the other end. You click through and apply yourself, on the postings you chose.

Where do Scout's jobs come from?

Four named sources: RemoteOK, Arbeitnow, Remotive, and Adzuna. Every card tells you which one it came from and links to the original posting. We do not scrape LinkedIn or Indeed because their terms do not allow it, which means our coverage is narrower than theirs. That is a real tradeoff and we would rather state it than hide it.

What happens if Scout has nothing for me one day?

It tells you, and it sends you nothing. No filler, no you-might-also-like, no quietly widening the search so the list looks fuller. An empty morning is information: either the market is quiet for your title this week, or your filters are too tight, and both are worth knowing.

How is this different from LinkedIn job alerts, which are free?

LinkedIn is free and its reach is far larger than ours, which is a real advantage we will not talk you out of. Scout does three things LinkedIn does not: it never repeats a job you have already seen, it refuses postings older than 21 days, and it matches against the experience you actually logged rather than a search string.

Can I cancel easily?

Two taps from your account, and you can pause instead of cancelling if you are between searches. If you land a job, you can step down to Career Watch at $9 a month rather than paying for a job search you are no longer running.
