What is switched off, and why
Career Watch was sold on four figures. Three of them are off.

All three market figures were built from the public Adzuna US jobs API. Adzuna's API terms, as we read them on September 14, 2026, let a company publish Adzuna's job listings and do not allow us to publish counts or averages built from that data. So the figures are switched off rather than sent anyway, and the note and your account say so every month instead of showing you empty boxes that would read as a quiet market. The listings themselves still appear in Scout, each one labelled Jobs by Adzuna.
What Career Watch will not do
It will not get you an interview, a callback, or an introduction, and nothing on this page is going to imply otherwise. Career Watch applies to nothing, contacts nobody, and never sees a role you have not gone and found yourself. What it does right now is smaller still: once a month it tells you how old your resume is getting, so you are not two years stale on the day you need it. It does not read your market. If you want something that acts, that is Bounce Pro and Scout, and they are different products at a different price.
The price, with nothing buried
Right now that $9 a month buys the monthly resume-age note and nothing else. Career Watch needs no Pro plan under it. Blaise and Scout are added to a Pro plan from the pricing page because they are job-search tools; Watch is for the person who is employed and not looking, so putting a job-search plan under it would be backwards. Already on Scout? Career Watch is included at no extra charge, so do not buy it twice. All Access includes it permanently.
When Career Watch is the only subscription on your account, the Cancel button ends it: you will be offered a discount and a pause on the way out, and declining both cancels it. When you also pay for Pro or Scout, that button acts on the other plan, so use the End Career Watch button on the same page. Career Watch billing on its own runs to the end of the month you paid for, and Career Watch sharing a subscription with another plan stops when you confirm, with the rest of the month credited to your next invoice. The monthly send re-checks your subscription at the moment it goes out, so a lapsed account is never emailed for a month it did not pay for.
Setting up a watch still asks for a job title and a metro, and keeps them with your watch. Nothing reads them while the market figures are off.
If the watch has no scan date for your resume, the note says it has no reading rather than inventing one.
Who this is not for
- You are actively job hunting. Then you want Scout, which is daily, matched to your logged experience, and never repeats a posting. Watch is monthly and deliberately shallow, and Scout includes it anyway.
- You want to know what your job pays, or who is hiring. Career Watch does not show either right now.

What exactly arrives, and when?
One email on the 3rd of each month. The send starts at 9am Denver time and works through the subscriber list in hourly batches, so yours can arrive any time that day. Right now it carries one reading: how old your resume is, with a nudge once it passes six months, or a plain statement that the watch has no date for it. It also tells you the market figures are switched off. The same note is in your account any time, without waiting for the 3rd.
Why are the market figures switched off?
They were built from the public Adzuna US jobs API: a count of current postings for your title and metro, an average advertised salary and its six-month history, and the employers that recurred in the results. Adzuna's terms let a company publish its job listings and do not allow us to publish counts or averages built from that data, so the figures are off rather than sent anyway.
Will Career Watch get me a job or an interview?
No. It cannot, and it does not try. Career Watch applies to nothing, contacts nobody, and introduces you to no one. Right now it is a monthly note on the age of your resume, and it does not read your market at all. Acting on a search is what Bounce Pro and Scout are for.
Do I need Bounce Pro to buy Career Watch?
No, and that is deliberate. Blaise and Scout are added to a Pro plan from the pricing page because they are job-search tools. Career Watch is built for the person who is employed and not looking, so requiring a job-search plan underneath it would be backwards. It is $9 a month on its own. It is also included at no extra cost with Scout, and permanently with All Access.
Can I cancel, and what happens if I do?

When Career Watch is the only subscription there, the Cancel button ends it, and on the way out you are offered a discount and then a pause, both of which you have to decline.
